Face it!

Today’s post will be all about getting that beautiful dewy, radiant look for homecoming, prom or any other occasion actually! More specifically, we’ll be dealing with makeup for the FACE :)

Step 1: Foundation
To get the right foundation, try applying a little of the tester on your lower cheek area. The colour that blends and fades the best into your skin is the one that’s right for you! My personal favourite foundations are Laura Mercier’s Silk Creme Foundation (which by the way, youtube makeup guru BLAIR FOWLER loves too!), and Revlon’s Photo-Ready Foundation. The Revlon foundation is especially perfect for prom since you’re gonna be taking lotsa pretty photos, and it helps to give you that air-brushed flawless skin look!

Some people prefer using a foundation brush to get that more velvety finish, but I personally prefer using my fingers! That’s right, my fingers. Your fingers can give the most natural look since it warms up the foundation and helps it blend better with your skin. Using your fingers also means you have one less brush to clean! ;)

Step 2: Concealer
Put some under your eyes to get rid of any dark eye rings or to conceal any eyebags!

Step 3: Blush/Bronzer
Tip: The flush on your cheeks is an extremely attractive look from a man’s point of view as it mimics the rush of blood to the cheeks during an orgasm ;) So men find it extremely sexy and react to it instinctively!

Apply some blush on the apples of your cheeks from the area nearer to your nose upwards diagonally. If you have fair skin, you might want to try a peachy colour; if you have a slightly darker/medium skin tone, try a more intense pink or apricot colour. If you have dark chocolatey skin, try colours that stand out, like a bright hot pink or a deep plum colour!

Bronzers are pretty much AWESOME and they make your cheekbones look AMAZING. The common misconception is that you can’t use both blush and bronzer - but you can! Dust some bronzer over your forehead, nose, cheeks, and even your chin-to-neck area, before applying some blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Finally, brush on some face powder to finish off your beautiful flawless look :)

Well that’s it for the face! Hint for the next post: The eyes are the windows to the soul ;) I’m sure you beauty smarties can figure that one out! Till then babes!

P.S. Make my day and follow me on tumblr! Love yall!
